Landgasthof Schickh in Klein-Wien
Landgasthof Schickh stands on Avastraße in Klein-Wien, a hamlet of the market town of Furth bei Göttweig, below Göttweig Abbey. The Schickh-Salzer family run the inn, cook Austrian food and also let rooms; the garden lies in the shade of old chestnut trees, and there is a conservatory as well. Despite its name, which translates as little Vienna, Klein-Wien is a village at the foot of the abbey hill and has nothing to do with the capital.
Getting there without a car
We collect you at home, at your hotel, at Krems railway station or at the river pier and take you right to the inn. A popular combination is Göttweig Abbey: up the hill for the visit, back down for the meal — we drive both on the same afternoon.
And back again
For most guests a glass of Kremstal or Wachau wine belongs with the meal — and afterwards the question of who drives would spoil it. Arrange the pickup at the same time: we are outside the inn at the agreed hour and take everyone home or back to their accommodation.

No. Klein-Wien is a hamlet of Furth bei Göttweig, just below the abbey, and part of our core area. Landgasthof Schickh is on Avastraße there; from Krems we are with you quickly.
