Steigenberger Hotel & Spa Krems stands at Am Goldberg 2 in Stein, a district of Krems, on a low hill among the vineyards; the hotel has a vineyard of its own. Depending on the room, you look out over the vines, the old town or the Danube valley, and from the hill the view reaches as far as Göttweig Abbey. The hotel has 173 rooms and suites and seven meeting rooms; the spa is on the top floors.
From the platform up to the Goldberg
If you come to the Steigenberger by train, you get off at Krems station — our base is right there on Bahnhofplatz. The hotel, on the other hand, sits up above the town, and with a suitcase and a conference bag the way there is no stroll. We load your luggage and drive you right to the hotel; tell us your train when you book and we will be ready when it pulls in.
Down into town, back up the hill
Staying at the Steigenberger puts the town below you — and after an evening in Krems, the way back is uphill. We take care of that: down when you are ready to go, and back up at the time you give us when you book.

It used to be: “Steigenberger Avance Hotel and Spa Krems”. Today it is Steigenberger Hotel & Spa Krems — the same hotel at the same address, Am Goldberg 2 in Stein. Either name or the address is enough when you book; within Krems the official taxi tariff applies.
We are organising a conference at the Steigenberger — how do we book rides for the participants?
Train by train is simplest: tell us the time of each arrival in Krems, and for the way home the train your participants need to catch. Tell us the number of people when you book and we plan the ride accordingly.
